biography
Christina is an award-winning composer, filmmaker and poet. She has composed music for more than 40 award-winning short and feature films, as well as for stage plays, TV series, dance performances and commercials produced in Europe and the United States. She received the Best Soundtrack Award at the Monaco International Film Festival for her music for the film "Styx" (2008) and was voted Woman of the Year (Music Category, MFA Awards) in 2019. Christina studied music (BMus, MA, PhD) at King's College, The Royal Academy of Music and City University in London, winning, amongst others, three awards in piano performance in London and Brussels and performing all over Europe. She is a Member of the European Film Academy since 2012. In 2021, she produced and directed her debut documentary feature, "The Stray Story: A dogumentary", which has to date received 13 international awards and is now available on major streaming platforms. 2024 marked the release of "Introvert", a personal album featuring original songs which reached No. 1 on iTunes Electro Charts in Cyprus, and the publication of her fourth poetry book, titled "Depth of Field".
